Terms of Service

The agreement, in plain language.

These terms govern the recruiting services I provide. They are written to be read, not to be skimmed past — if something here does not sit right with you, raise it before you enroll.

Last updated: August 7, 2026

1. Agreement

These terms form an agreement between you and Coach Velez Recruiting(“I”, “me”). By using this website or enrolling in a recruiting program, you accept them.

You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of the athlete to enroll. Athletes do not enter into agreements with me directly.

2. What the service is

I provide college football recruiting services. Depending on the program, that includes evaluation and recruiting strategy, target school selection, outreach to college coaching staffs, film guidance, recruiting profile setup, personal branding guidance, communication coaching, activity reporting, and ongoing mentorship.

The specific scope for your athlete is agreed before enrollment and set out in your program agreement. Where these terms and that agreement differ, the program agreement governs.

3. What I do not promise

This is the most important section on the page, so it is stated directly:

  • I do not guarantee scholarship offers, roster spots, or interest from any particular program or division level.
  • I do not guarantee that any college coach will respond, watch film, or make contact.
  • I do not guarantee athletic outcomes, playing time, or academic admission.
  • I do not control college coaching staffs, their recruiting boards, their budgets, or their timelines.

What you are paying for is professional work performed on your athlete's behalf — strategy, outreach, guidance and advocacy — not a particular result. Any recruiting service that promises you an outcome is not being honest with you.

4. What I commit to

  • Performing the agreed work with professional care
  • Giving you my honest evaluation, including when it is unwelcome
  • Keeping you informed about what has been done and what came back
  • Being reachable and responding to you
  • Telling you if I conclude I am not the right fit for your athlete

5. Your responsibilities

Recruiting only works when the family participates. You agree to:

  • Give me accurate information. Inaccurate measurables, grades, or film damage credibility with coaches and are difficult to recover from.
  • Respond to me and to college coaches in reasonable time
  • Complete the athlete's part of the plan — film, camps, academics, communication
  • Keep me informed of offers, visits, and contact you receive
  • Make payments as agreed

6. Film, images, and likeness

By enrolling, you grant me permission to use and distribute your athlete's film, photographs, name, measurables, and academic and athletic information for the purpose of recruiting him to college programs.

Information and film sent to a college program cannot be recalled. Please understand this before enrolling.

Separately, I may ask permission to feature your athlete in my own marketing. That is always optional, asked for separately, and refusing it changes nothing about the service.

7. Eligibility and compliance

Using a recruiting service is permitted under current NCAA rules. However, eligibility rules are set by the NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA and individual institutions, they change, and they are ultimately your family's responsibility.

I will flag compliance issues I am aware of, but I am not a compliance office and cannot certify eligibility. Verify eligibility questions with the relevant governing body, your athlete's high school, and the schools recruiting him.

I am not a certified athlete agent, I do not negotiate professional contracts, and I do not represent athletes in name-image-likeness dealings.

8. Payment

Fees, schedule, and program term are set out in your program agreement. Payment obligations continue for the full term, including under installment plans and third-party financing.

All sales are final. Refunds and cancellations are governed by the refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Ending the agreement

I may end a program, without refund, if information given to me is materially false, if a family is abusive to me or to college staff, if conduct puts an athlete's eligibility or reputation at risk, or if payments are not made.

You may stop participating at any time. Doing so does not end your payment obligations for the agreed term.

10. This website

The content, design, and code of this site are mine. College and conference names appearing on this site are used for factual reference only and imply no affiliation with or endorsement by those institutions.

Information on this site is general and is not a substitute for advice about your athlete's specific situation.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, my total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid me. I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost scholarship opportunity.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE]. Before any formal dispute, both of us agree to first attempt to resolve the matter directly — in this business, a phone call almost always beats a filing.

13. Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top reflects the current version, and material changes will be communicated to active families directly. Your program agreement is not changed by updates to this page.
